Let Me Tell You About My Dream Job... And What I Do as a Coach

A few years back, I found myself living a life that I though should've made me happy.

I was working a job in public relations, and getting raises, promotions and accolades left and right. I was managing accounts and valued greatly by my bosses. I was traveling the country and running fabulous media events, dating the man who would become my husband, and having a blast at happy hours with gorgeous people and great friends.

I was naturally thin, young, coupled up, making money and successful based on all the metrics I'd learned growing up.

But it wasn't enough.

We live in a world that teaches us to look outside for success, for happiness, for fulfillment. I learned growing up that physical features and certain standards in a career and relationship were the necessary and expected parts of a happy life.

But what I realized a few years ago was that those rules don't have to apply to me. And in fact, they didn't apply to me, which is why I felt crappy even when it looked like I was living the dream.

And I know so many women who can relate.

We're all fed these stories from the time we're young that tell us what we should look like, how we should spend our time, what success looks like and what we should value. And when those standards don't match up with how we actually feel, we start to think there's something wrong with us.

We wonder why everyone else can get their finances and diets and exercise routines together. Why everyone else's Instagram posts about their partner look better than ours. Why our coworkers seem so content but we feel like there must be something more.

I became a coach because I believe that there is something more.

When I decided that the rules I'd allowed other people and influences to place on my life weren't for me, I got to start a whole new chapter. I found a whole new level of freedom. I've created a life that feels fulfilling, nourishing and driven by ease rather than stress. Flow rather than striving. Calm rather than anxiety.

And all the while it became a thousand times easier to take care of myself, to find time for the things I love, to let myself rest and to build a career around the life I want rather than the other way around.

That's what I do as a coach. I help you build the life you desire, on your terms. That means diving deep into the blocks you've been holding onto - what beliefs are you carrying around that have led you to the life you've got? Whose beliefs are those?

We work together to help you let them go, and replace them with the ideas and values that are true to you.

We get you feeling physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually stronger than you've ever felt. By using a combination of practical tools, knowledge, information and spiritual + emotional practices, we set you free from a life of living like you think you should, and allow you to step into your power.

And because your life is made up of a lot of different components, we tap into each of them. I work with my clients on components of their careers, their nutrition and diet, their physical activity and the spiritual and emotional mindset work. My biggest commitment to myself and to those I work with is that we always aim to act and live from a place of intuition. I believe that you know what you need - I'm here to help you reconnect to your gut, learn to trust it and fill in any of the gaps.

When two magical beings come together with the common goal of creating a better tomorrow, I believe that incredible shi(f)t happens. I'm one of those beings - and I believe that you're the other.
